Viewing platform

A reservoir was built on the Resterkogel in 2005, surrounded by numerous artificial and natural biotopes. The reservoir measures 10.5 meters at its deepest point and holds around 175,000 m³ of water. KitzSki uses this amount to produce technical snow in winter, an important component for the high quality of the pistes.

The platform is a popular place to take a souvenir photo; happy faces in the foreground, the glittering crystals of the reservoir and the white peaks of the Hohe Tauern in the background. Good to know: With a valid lift ticket, the souvenir photo can also be taken at the photo point (in the immediate vicinity of the platform).
